UPDATE: We left Grand Junction in the morning to go to Las Vegas. Colorado is an amazing state, which we are definitely coming back to visit. Next time, we will dedicate a lot more than one full day to this state.After check-out, we went off to visit friends, Steve and his lovely family. This stop was one of the biggest highlights of our trip. Next time, we'll make plans with them to do some outdoor adventures, and perhaps some more.
Did I mention how amazing Colorado is? We need to come back in the spring to have the experience of looking at the colorful side of Colorado. Right now the weather is chilly and dry so the trees have lost most, if not all, their foliage.
I can't wait to see all the waterfalls, and colorful valleys and mountains of the region.
